Adaptive headlights work in harmony with steering, enhancing safety

Adaptive front-lighting systems more effectively illuminate the vehicle’s direction of travel by working in tandem with the steering, making it easier to see road conditions and spot pedestrians at night.

How AFS works

AFS automatically turns on low beams according to vehicle speed and steer to provide better visibility.

Winding roads: AFS changes the lighting pattern to compensate for road curvature, enhancing nighttime visibility.

Crossroads: When turning left or right at intersections, AFS will illuminate the chosen direction of travel and also help highlight pedestrians.
*Note: The right-side lamp does not move when the vehicle is stopped.
