Ramp-up ASSB development
We have made progress on our goal of launching an EV with ASSB by FY28, such as deciding on the chemistry we will use and unveiling a prototype line in April 2022. Construction of the pilot production line is underway and operations will start in FY24. Prototype vehicle testing on public roads is set to begin in FY26, and we aim to launch new models with these game-changing batteries in FY28.

Vehicle-Intelligence technologies
We have been developing driver assistance technologies for more than 20 years based on our “Safety Shield” approach, and we will offer more intelligent vehicles using technologies such as next-generation LiDAR to enhance our driver assistance technology.
Our current technology, ProPILOT aims to reduce tiredness and increase confidence. We will launch the next generation of our ProPILOT technology in FY27 that will feature expanded door-to-door driving, though use of ground truth perception with LiDAR and cloud-based AI.
