Roox Invisible Hood View
(A first for kei cars*1)
Have you ever wished you could avoid rocks or puddles when driving on gravel — for example, on the way to a campsite?
Nissan has developed technology to ease concerns even on narrow unpaved roads, such as those found in parks and campgrounds.
Invisible Hood View lets you see objects in front of and below the vehicle's hood that are normally hidden from the driver's line of sight via the navigation monitor*2 — allowing you to avoid hazardous obstacles.
*1 As of October 2025
*2 Display is available approximately five meters after starting to drive, at speeds below 20 km/h

Nissan's passion for quality
To introduce Invisible Hood View, our engineers combined vehicle information such as speed and steering angle with camera footage during image processing. This allows the monitor to display images that reflect real driving situations.
This technology was born from our engineers' desire to make areas hidden from the driver's view visible. The safety assistance features originally adopted in Infiniti's flagship QX80 are now available in kei cars, overcoming high hurdles in balancing cost and performance, and providing easy-to-understand images for drivers.
