VISIT, ONLINE COMMON

  • QWhat can I expect to see during the factory tour?

    A

    Visitors can see the vehicle assembly process at Tochigi Plant, Oppama Plant, Nissan Motor Kyushu, and Nissan Shatai Shonan Plant, and the engine manufacturing process at Iwaki Plant and Yokohama Plant.
    (Please note that the production lines may not be open to visitors due to circumstances at the plants. Please be aware of this in advance.)
    Yokohama Plant also has the Nissan Engine Museum, which displays the history of Nissan and the engines of the past. For details, please refer to the page of each plant.
    (Please note that some plants may not be open to visitors at this time.)

  • QWill I need to pay an admission fee or participation fee?

    A

    No, it is all free of charge.

  • QCan I visit with my family or by myself?

    A

    You can visit us as a family or as an individual. Please make a reservation in advance through the application site so as not to confuse the online tour with the application.

  • QIs it possible to visit on weekends and holidays?

    A

    We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, summer vacation, New Year's vacation, and other vacations according to the factory's operation. National holidays are implemented.

  • QIs it possible to take photos or videos in the factory?

    A

    You may take pictures in the visitor and guest halls, but please refrain from recording or taking pictures in the production line or during the online tour.

  • QAre there any places to eat?

    A

    It varies from factory to factory, so please fill in the remarks column or call us to confirm in advance.

  • QIs smoking permitted?

    A

    As of April 2016, smoking has been prohibited on all premises. We ask for your cooperation.

  • QIf I am accompanied by a foreigner, is there an interpreter available?

    A

    We are sorry, but we do not provide information in English or other languages. If you are a foreign visitor, please have an interpreter accompany you.

ABOUT ONLINE TOUR

  • QCan I visit with my family or by myself?

    A

    Social studies tours will be conducted by connecting the school to the guest hall. We are in the process of preparing one for the general public. Please register in advance and join us.

  • QIs it possible to take screen shots or record during the online tour?

    A

    We ask that you refrain from doing so. We ask for your cooperation.

  • QDo you offer online tours for foreigners?

    A

    Sorry, we do not currently provide information in English or any other language.

ABOUT APPLICATION

  • QIs it possible to apply by phone?

    A

    It is possible, but please make reservations online if possible.

  • QIf I use a wheelchair or crutches, can I still visit?

    A

    Yes, it is possible, but the tour course may be changed.
    Please be sure to let us know in the remarks column of your application.

  • QWhen will I receive a response to my application?

    A

    If you apply by 3:00 p.m., we will reply to your e-mail address after 6:00 p.m. on the day of application, if it is an operating day.
    (If you apply after 15:00 or on a weekend or holiday, we will reply on the next business day.
    If you do not receive an e-mail after the deadline, please contact us.)

  • QI can't make an appointment.

    It is especially difficult to make reservations from September to December due to the high volume of applications.
    If possible, please reconsider visiting during these months.

  • QCan I visit the museum on days that are not marked with a color on the reservation calendar?

    A

    Unfortunately, we are not taking reservations for this day. Please consider another day.

  • QI got an error message and cannot apply.

    A

    There are some fields that need to be re-entered, such as required fields not filled in or incorrect email address.
    Please check the message in red.

  • QI need to make a change to my application.

    A

    If there are any changes in the number of participants or the method of attendance, please be sure to contact us by phone.

  • QHow can I cancel my visit?

    A

    Please use the cancellation URL in the "reservation completion email" sent to you, or call us. Please note that reservations made less than one week before the tour cannot be cancelled online.

  • QI did not receive an email that my application is complete.

    A

    While an email will be sent for completed applications to your registered e-mail address, due to the nature of e-mail, it may be delayed or undeliverable. In such cases, please contact the Guest Hall at the factory.

    In any of the following cases, please contact the Guest Hall.

    Are you blocking the receipt of e-mails?
    If you have registered your e-mail address with a cell phone company, please make sure that you can receive e-mails from @mail.nissan.co.jp.

    Confirmation 2
    Is the email being sent to your spam folder or "trash box"?
    If your security software has an anti-spam function, there is a possibility that your e-mails are being automatically sorted into that folder or deleted.

    Confirmation 3
    Has the capacity of your mailbox or server exceeded the limit?
    If so, you will not be able to receive e-mails. Please increase the capacity or delete unnecessary e-mails and data to free up space.
