Born in 1961. Lives and works in Nagoya. Graduated from Sculpture Course, Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music. Since 1994, he has shown his works at Kenji Taki Gallery in Nagoya and Tokyo. Major exhibitions include "Encounter" Opera City Art Gallery (2001, Tokyo), "All About Laughter: Humor in Contemporary Art" Mori Museum of Art (2007, Tokyo), Aichi Triennale (2010), "This is not a Book" Urawa Art Museum (2011, Saitama). Recent exhibitions include a solo exhibitions at Sleeper (2013 Edinburgh), and "Vehicle" Kenji Taki Gallery (2013, Nagoya).
