Artist's comment

I remember that it was April 2008 when I moved to Yokohama after spending four and a half years in Tokyo working for a company. I am sure that those two years in Yokohama, when I took shelter in school in spite of my age and forgot about mornings and evenings, thinking and devoting myself to my work, is now the foundation that forms who I am today. I then left Yokohama and experienced a range of other places, before receiving the opportunity to exhibit at Yokohama Museum of Art last year. I engaged with this like it was destiny or a task I had left unfinished. Now receiving another chance so soon to exhibit back in Yokohama, I have realized that the task is still not yet complete. I intend once again to re-examine the past and tackle this task.
