Nissan's global sales volume in fiscal year 2022 decreased 14.7% from a year earlier to 3.31 million vehicles, primarily due to the semiconductor shortage and the impact of the wide spread of the COVID-19 infection in China.

Total Industry Volume in Japan increased 4.0% from a year earlier to 4.39 million vehicles. Nissan’s regional sales rose by 6.1% year-on-year to 454 thousand vehicles.
