Nissan participated at the "2009 Tokyo Motor Show Investors Conference", which was held during the week of the Tokyo Motor Show. Minoru Shinohara, Senior Vice President in charge of the Technology Development Division, presented on "Technology development and future vision of Nissan's Electric Vehicle".
2009 Advance Technology Briefing

At the Advanced Technology Briefing this year, new technologies for the EV (scheduled to be launched in FY2010) and the next-generation Fuga (scheduled for this fall) were introduced. We exhibited our EV technologies, which included a non-contact charging system and our lithium-ion batteries. Participants also drove an EV prototype based on an platform exclusively-designed for the EV.
The next-generation Fuga will feature new technologies, such as the "Forest AC Air Conditioning System", which simulates the essence of a forest, "Navigation-Cooperative Intelligent Pedal ", which is a world-first technology that assists drivers when driving on curves, "Active Stability Assist", which supports cornering with a secure and smooth feel, and the advanced "Four-Wheel Active Steering". Participants test drove prototypes equipped with these technologies at the briefing. In addition, vehicles equipped with the next-generation XTRONIC-CVT and the Clean Diesel AT model were also available for test drives.

Based on the announcement on May 12th, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. had a small meeting for the explanation of performance of FY2008 followed by Q&A session.
