Skyline 1500GL (1971: C10)

The third generation Skyline C10 was born in 1968 after a full-model change. It was famous for its nickname "Hakosuka (Boxy Skyline)". Features included wider and lower body and edgy styling. Especially the character line on the rear fender was designed based on the hydrodynamics and later called "Surfin' Line". The advertising campaign with the copy "Ai-no-Skyline (Skyline Of Love)" became legendary.
The original lineup of 1500 series was "Standard" and "Deluxe", but "Family Deluxe", "Touring Deluxe" and "Sporty Deluxe" were added. Mounted engine was "G15" (4-cyl. OHC, 1500cc, 88ps) developed for the last model of the previous generation. This car is Sporty Deluxe manufactured in 1971.
