Nissan Junior Caball C40 was released in 1957 when trucks of cab-over type were not common. The horsepower of the original engine (1500cc) was increased from 50ps to 57ps and the model became C42 in 1958. C43 for 3 passengers was rolled out in 1959, followed by C140 with the horsepower of 71ps released in 1960.
C141 was released with the engine of 1900cc and 85ps in 1962. Various improvements such as a face-lift around headlamps were made one after another. It got favorable reviews because of comfortable ride realized by the stabilizer of the torsion bar type and the minimum turning radius of 5.3m. This is C141 in the agreeable 2-tone color, manufactured in1963.
