NISSAN 300ZX Turbo T-top 50th Anniversary (1983 : HZ31)

The accumulated production of "Fairlady" series since DATSUN Fairlady SPL212/213 in 1960 reached one million in 1983 when the third generation Fairlady Z (Z31) was rolled out. Its newly developed compact "VG" engine (V6, 2000cc and 3000cc) was a hot topic. Weight balance of entire vehicle was improved, which resulted in drastic improvement of traveling performance.

The edgy form with traditional long nose/short deck and drag coefficient (Cd)=0.31 features semi-retractable headlights, called "Parallel Rising Headlamps". This is "NISSAN 300ZX Turbo" with VG30ET engine. It is of Canadian spec. and also of special edition on Nissan Motor's 50th anniversary in 1983.
