Laurel 2000GX(1975: HC130)

The second-generation Laurel (C130) was launched in April 1972. The sophisticated styling proved very popular. Starting with this model, the Laurel had a 2-liter L20 engine instead of G18 and G20; in October 1973, the 2.6 liter (L26) version was also included in the lineup. The SGX (L20 only) boasted a high output of 130PS (regular gasoline engine was 125PS) with its SU twin-carb engine.
