Datsun Bluebird Estate Wagon(1967: W510)

The third generation Datsun Bluebird 510 made a debut in 1967. Bluebird shifted to the 1300-1600cc class due to the release of a new low-end car Datsun Sunny 1000 in 1966. Soft and curvy styling of the previous generation was replaced with sharp linear styling with the image of supersonic aircraft. The copy was "Supersonic line", suggesting the age of high-speed driving.
The original lineup was sedan, estate wagon and van. Sedan adopted the new 4-wheel independent suspension while wagon and van adopted rear-wheel suspension with parallel leaf springs for more load capacity. This car is Estate Wagon of the early days and mounted engine is L13 (4-cyl.in line OHC, 72ps).
