Datsun Bluebird 1200 Deluxe(1960: P311)

Datsun 1000 sedan (Models 210 and 211) developed its durability at Mobilgas Trial (Round Australia) in 1958, the first international rally that Nissan participated in. It was the first Nissan model that was exported to US.
Datsun 310 was born in August 1959 as successor of Datsun 1000. 310 was the first "Bluebird" and now its long story began as a major brand of Nissan. This is the advanced model 311 rolled out in October 1960 with enhanced Type E1 engine (1189cc, 55ps) and full-synchronized transmission system.

This is the car that was used for Driving All Around Japan event in 1960. Drawn on the body are emblems and autographs of governors of prefectures it visited.
