Caravan Chaircab (1979: HPE20rev.)

The first generation Caravan, also known as "Urvan" E20 rolled out in 1973 was a multi-purpose commercial van of the cab over type. "Chaircab" was added in 1977 that had a lift and an anchoring device for a wheelchair.

A long-run charity TV program in Japan started in 1978 with the watchwords of "Welfare", "Environment", and "Disaster Recovery". Nissan, as a major sponsor, has donated many welfare vehicles from the beginning of the program. This is the actual car of No.27 among 213 donated welfare cars in 1978 and was used at a welfare facility for about 20 years. The logo of the program is drawn on the body.

It was restored by Autech Japan, Inc. in 2015 to the almost brand-new condition including the electric lift.
