Skyline 2000 Turbo RS (1983: DR30)

The sixth generation Skyline R30 released in 1981 was called gNewman Skylineh because the image character was Paul Newman, a Hollywood star and racing driver. FJ20E engine (4-cyl. 4-valve DOHC) mounted on 2000RS became very popular as the first DOHC engine on Skyline in eight years.
2000 Turbo RS was added in 1983 with FJ20E¥T (190ps) engine that was a combination of FJ20E and turbo. The engine was so powerful that the car was called gThe most powerful Skyline in historyh. The front grille was removed at the minor change in August 1983 and so RS series cars was nicknamed gIron maskh because of unique front end without grille.
