RB26DETT engine and electronically controlled torque split 4WD "ATTESA E-TS" made Skyline GT-R R32 one of the most popular models in the line. It won all of 29 Group A touring car races in Japan and took the pole position at every race, which made a significant mark in the motorsport history in Japan.
It ran at Total 24 Hours at Spa-Francorchamps, one of the Triple Crown of endurance races, from 1990 to 1992. No. 25, steered by N. Hattori, A. Olofsson and D. Brabham, won the championship in the overall category with the record of the highest speed/longest distance in 1991. R32 also finished 6th in overall category of Group N with the drivers T. Kinoshita, K. O'dorand D. Schoysman.
