Fumio Nanjo

Director, Mori Museum of Art, Tokyo

Fumio Nanjo (b.1949 in Tokyo) is the director of Mori Art Museum since November in 2006. He graduated from Keio University in the faculty of Economics (1972) and Letters (Aesthetics/Art History;1977). His main achievements include commissioner of the Japan Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (1997), commissioner at the Taipei Biennale (1998), member of jury committee of the Turner Prize (1998), artistic director of the Yokohama Triennale 2001, Tokyo-section co-curator of the Sao Paulo Biennale (2002), jury member of the Golden Lion Prize of the Venice Biennale (2005) and artistic director of the Singapore Biennale (2006/2008). Publications include Asian Contemporary Art Report: China, India, Middle East and Japan (2010) and A Life with Art (2012).

Eriko Osaka

Director, Yokohama Museum of Art, Yokohama

Born in Tokyo, received B.F.A. from Gakushuin University. She has organized and curated many international exhibitions of contemporary art while at the Japan Foundation and ICA, Nagoya. She worked at the Contemporary Art Center, Art Tower Mito as senior curator (1994-1997) and artistic director (1997-2006) and Mori Art Museum as artistic director (2007-2009), before assuming her position as director of Yokohama Art Museum in 2009. She has numerous experiences in working for international exhibition, as co-curator for the Japan section of the 3rd Asian Pacific Triennial (1999), commissioner for the Japan Pavilion in the 49th Venice Biennale (2001), director general in the 4th Yokohama Triennale(2011), Chairperson, Organizing Committee for Yokohama Triennale(2014).

Huang Du

Independent Curator, Beijing

Born in 1965, Shaanxi Province, P. R. China. Received his Ph.D in Science of Fine Arts from CAFA, Beijing in 2004. From 1988 to 2001 he worked as an editor for Fine Arts (Mei Shu) Magzine. Huang Du has published numerous critical articles and essays on contemporary art, mostly on magazines and catalogues in countries including China, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Australia, Spain and others. As a speaker and jury member, he was invited to participate in various important international art symposiums and art awards of CCAA, Credit Suisse Today Art Award 2010-2012.

Jean de Loisy

Director, Palais de Tokyo, Paris

Born in 1957. As a curator, he has held a variety of positions in a wide range of cultural institutions. His positions include a curator at the Pays de la Loire Fonds Regional d'Art Contemporain, (1983-1986), the Pays de la Loire Ateliers Internationaux [International Studios]; (1983-1987), Nimes museum (1989-1991), the Fondation Cartier (1990-1994), a curator at the Centre Georges Pompidou (1994-1997). He has been a member of numerous councils and committees including the national committee responsible for public commissions (2005-2007), the artistic council of the Estuaire project (2007-2011), the technical committee of FRAC Aquitaine (2008- ), the board of directors of the Grand Palais (2010-2011), and the scientific committee of the Palais de Tokyo (2008-2011). He was appointed as a President of the Palais de Tokyo in June 2011.

Lawrence Rinder

Director, University of California, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive

Lawrence Rinder is Director of the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive. He came to the University of California from the California College of the Arts where he was Dean of the College and Dean of Graduate Studies. Previously, he was the Anne and Joel Ehrenkranz Curator of Contemporary Art at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Rinder was founding director of the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, in San Francisco, and served as Assistant Director and Curator for Twentieth-Century Art at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive. He has held teaching positions at UC Berkeley, Columbia University, and Deep Springs College. He has published poetry and art criticism in "Zyzzyva", "Artforum", "nest", "The Village Voice", "Fillip", and "Parkett". "Art Life: Selected Writings, 1991-2005", published by Gregory R. Miller and Company in Spring 2006, is his first book of essays.
